Isla de Oro Bonaire treats your data with care. This website collects very little, and what we do receive is only used to help you. Here is exactly what happens.

Who is responsible
Isla de Oro Bonaire, based in Kralendijk, Bonaire, is responsible for the data processed through this website. You can reach us at info@isladeorobonaire.com.
Isla de Oro Bonaire is a trade name of Isla Creative B.V. i.o.
When you contact us
If you ask a question or request the availability of a piece, the form opens your own email app with a message ready to send. We receive whatever you include: your name, email address, subject and message.
The same goes for a direct email or an Instagram DM: we only see what you choose to send us.
When you visit the website
The site is hosted by Vercel. Vercel may keep technical server logs, such as your IP address, the time of your visit and your browser type. We don't use these logs to track you.
The fonts on this site are loaded from Google Fonts. To do that, your browser sends your IP address to Google. How Google handles it is described in Google's privacy policy.
When you choose Dutch or English, your browser remembers that choice locally (under the name ido-lang). It stays on your device and is never sent to us.
What we use your data for
Only to answer your question or handle your request. We don't send newsletters, we don't build profiles and we never sell your data.
There are no analytics tools, ad pixels or tracking cookies on this site. We don't keep track of what you look at.
How long we keep data
We keep emails for as long as we need them to handle your request, and after that for at most two years for our own records. Then we delete them.
How long Vercel keeps server logs is up to Vercel. We have no access to them and do not use them.
Your rights
You can always ask what data we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it. Email info@isladeorobonaire.com; we usually reply within two working days.
If you’re unhappy with how we handle your data, please tell us first. If we can’t work it out together, you can turn to the competent supervisory authority for the Caribbean Netherlands.
Changes
If the website changes, this policy may change with it. The current version is always the one on this page.
