Can the jewelry handle water?
Our jewelry is stainless steel. Every piece lists what it is made of. How to care for your jewelry is explained on the Jewelry care page.
Where is the jewelry made?
On Bonaire. We design every piece on the island and make it there too.
Where can I buy Isla de Oro?
You will find Isla de Oro at five sales points on Bonaire: MG Bonaire, Playa Gift Shop, Beach Vibes Sorobon, Vista Blue Boutique Store and Sunset Gift Shop. Saw something online that’s no longer available in one of the shops? Get in touch and we’ll check whether it’s still in stock.
Can I order online?
We don’t have an online shop at the moment, but you can still order. If you’re on Bonaire, you can always pick up your order. We also ship to the Netherlands. Send an email to info@isladeorobonaire.com or a DM on Instagram and let us know what you’d like to order. We reply within 2 working days.

What materials do you use?
Stainless steel, often combined with freshwater pearls, shells or stones. Every piece lists exactly what it’s made of.
Will the jewelry discolor?
Not easily. The base of our jewelry is stainless steel, a strong material that holds its gold color for a long time. After long and frequent wear, the gold color can become a little lighter. If you avoid water, soap and perfume, you can enjoy your jewelry for years with normal wear. You’ll find more tips on the Jewelry care page.
